Help to use reinstall disc
I am being given a c0000135 (unable to locate component) message on a blue screen and told that the application failed to start. winsrv was not found. I should re-install apllication to fix this problem.
I cannot boot my computer. It stays on blue screen with message. I need to know how I can get the reinstall disc to work. Please help.

Boot to the Recovery Console (see this). At the command prompt and with your Windows XP CD in the CD-ROM drive enter the following, substituting the letter of your CD-ROM drive for X:
expand x:\i386\winsrv.dl_ c:\windows\system32
and click OK. Note that there is a space after dl_.
