Help with Outlook Express 6

I get this message when I click send/recv.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.mindtherapyrecords.com', Server: 'mail.mindtherapyrecords.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

and I also get this message when I try to send a message

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was 'kindred559@mindtherapyrecords.com'. Subject 'dfr', Account: 'mail.mindtherapyrecords.com', Server: 'mail.mindtherapyrecords.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '550 No UCE c-66-229-119-197.we.client2.attbi.com [4]', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 550, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

I'm unable get any messages that are at this address.  I have uninstalled and installed the program. I've tried deleting the account and creating it again.

Please can someone help me to get the outlook working again.

Thanks

It sounds like you are trying to access a web mail service (that can be accessed viar your browser) rather than a standard pop3 ISP mail service.  If this is the case, it may be that service cannot be accessed with an e-mail program.

Otherwise, if it is a pop3 ISP e-mail service, doublecheck with the ISP to make sure you have the account configured correctly.  One character wrong in the account setup can cause it to fail.

O.E. Help file has info on setting up the Account and how to set up the various types, pop3, http, etc.  Check the help file and make sure you are setting it up correctly for the specific account type.

I sometimes get those errors but the ISP usually works again after some time has elapsed.
Works OK again without any change of my OE account.

it worked before.  Then all of a sudden one day it never worked again.  I am aware of the problem somehow fixing itself after an elapsed time but this time it doesn't look like it.  All the information is entered correctly.

Can only suggest to check with your ISP & try to Login to E-mail via ISP site & check send/rec from there.
I have found when I get those errors that I can still Login to ISP site & E-mail works from there as WEB mail.

ISP=Internet Service Provider. Some examples are Earthlink, Adelphia, Blazenet, WalMart,Comcast, Suscom, etc.

Tried the above E-mail address & got failure:
-------------------
- These recipients of your message have been processed by the mail server:
kindred559@mindtherapyrecords.com; Failed; 5.1.1 (*** bad destination mailbox address ***)

Remote MTA mail.mindtherapyrecords.com: SMTP diagnostic: 550 Administrative prohibition
--------------------
Also tried  http://www.mindtherapyrecords.com   & doesn't look like an ISP as no E-mail Logon although the E-mail I sent shows a mail server at  address  mindtherapyrecords.com  .?

Your ISP is the connection you use when you  Dial-up or connect via Broadband.
