HELP!!

I started to run the SP2 service pack last night but had to stop and now my Dell 600m won't start up at all...what can I do to fix my computer and get it to start up!
 
Any help would be great!

okay looking on to your research, as soon as u start the computer hit the f8 key on the keyboard, u would see multiple option, choose the last option that says the "Last Good Known Configuration" select that option and then choose the operating system as by default it would be the "Windows XP Home editon" Try hope that thing works out

What exactly happens when you turn it on? what screens? . .what error messages?

Try inserting your Operating system cd and see if you can get the system to boot to it. If you can get the system to boot to the cd rom disk, run the emergency repair. For the system not to boot up, usually means either the system kernel is crashed and you need to reload the Operating system, or it is missing NTLDR.
