How do I delete a second copy of Win XP?
I have WinXP Home installed on my system. I've been keeping it current with the automatic updates, etc. Yesterday, at startup, I got the dreaded blue screen:
STOP: C0000221 Unknown Hard Error
\%systemroot%\system32\ntdll.dll
It turns out that ntdll.dll got corrupted. I ended up reinstalling WinXP Home, but instead of using the default WINDOWS directory (and wiping out my original system), I typed in WINXPFIX to install another copy of WinXP. This new copy of WinXP worked fine. So then I was able to copy a clean copy of ntdll.dll back to my original WINDOWS system and fix it. The original WinXP boots up fine, and now everything is back to normal.
Now I'm left with 2 bootable copies of WinXP. At bootup, I get the menu asking me to choose one of the Windows XP Home Edition systems.
What is the best way to delete the second WinXP (i.e., the new copy in the WINXPFIX directory)?
Thanks in advance!

Click Start > Run > type, msconfig > Click, boot .ini tab > Then check all boot paths tab > Click on that and this should delete the choice that is not required > Click apply and reboot system. Check the box that telling Windows not to display that message again, so that it will not trouble you in the future.
