HOw do I get 64-bit when I keep getting a error on mircosoft page verification page

Hi, I want the 64-bit home premium for my xps m1210, which is now running the 32-bit. I have tried so many times to get through the Microsoft page just to get verification. Anyone know what or who I can talk to? I been looking around and I can't seem to find anything on it. I keep getting the error "No offer found" (i TRIED BOTH MY VISTA AND XP MEDAI). I was wondering if I went to the wrong people to as it from or it just because I already have the 32-bit and I can't get a 64-bit. -Mike

Hi Mike
Let me guess on this .
You have Vista preinstalled or an upgrade from XP with the Dell OEM Vista DVD and you want the Retail version of Vista 64 bit Home Premium so you go to Microsoft web page and try to order it and it says { {on offer}} that is right because your Dell OEM Vista DVD is the cheaper version not the Retail version witch Microsoft SELLS thay do not sell the Retail version to Dell it is the OEM version.
You can not get the Retail 64 bit version with the Dell OEM version.
If you want the 64 bit you have to buy the Retail version from the store and install it your self.
Good Luck !

Pick a store either online or a real one that sells Vista X64 ( insert your version preference ). Then purchase and install it fresh and clean on your Dell.

The OEM Version of Vista doesn't include the right to obtain the X64 bit version.
