How do I password protect a folder?

I need to know how to password protect a folder on Windows XP without password protecting my  user account. Help!

Folder Password protection is usually very easy to crack; much better is encryption. Do a Google search on 'TryeCrypt'it is freebie, you could donate some $ if you wish, I used them, you can encrypt folder on your HD and make it grows as its content grows, and/or you can encrypt entire volume like flash drive, very cool application and depending what encryption method you choose, virtually unbreakable, just do not forget password since as I mentioned it is unbreakable… Thanks! Scuse my total computer ignorance, but why not use the 'password' facility in XL and password the lot  ??
