How do I roll back to 32 bit XP

I was another one of the uninformed who thought I needed x64 for a 64 bit machine and thaty since the applications would run the drivers would work. WRONG. Now I can't get rid of it. Any advice. We tried Western Digital web site but their Application to format the HD won't work on x64
