How do I uninstall Dell Support?

Some upgrade or something occurred in the last week and Dell Support has become a constant presence in the system tray plus a big memory hog. (I don't need tips on SP2, etc.) I've turned off  everything I can turn off on the Alerts setting, but there is no "Disable" function, contrary to the Support FAQ.

So how do I get rid of it?  :smileymad:

ErinCC,

There should be an entry for Dell Support in Add/Remove Programs. You can uninstall it from there.

Thanks, Denny. I also see Dell Solution Center in Add/Remove. I think both will soon be history!

I cannot get Dell Support to remove.

I click on remove in Add/remove programs and it starts to behave like it will remove it, but then it says canceling. Then i get the windows critical error beep about 6 times, the computer won't respond, then it drops me back to add/remove programs.

I'm really sick of dell support being in the tray using memory when I don't need it.

It may not be able to remve it if it is running. Stop the process in task manager or try add/remove in safe mode.
