How do we remove SP2 on Dimension 2400?
Hello. I just bought an Inspiron 2400 a few weeks ago. I'm using some programs that don't run with SP2. I'd like to remove SP2 but I have no idea how to do it since Win XP with SP2 is set as the default operating system for every new Dells now (I think).
If there is absolutely no way to remove SP2, can I format my hard drive then re-install win XP with SP1?

You cannot remove it. You can install Windows XP SP1 if you have a retail copy, but of course you would need to activate that with the key it comes with - the Dell key will not work.
