How to Install Diagnostic tools?

I bought a new hard disk serial ata para my Dell Dimension 8300, originally it has a IDE hard disk, I want to install the diagnostic tools in the new hard disk. Is possible to install this like the original disk?, How I can to do it?

Search the forum. I have seen somewhere someone said that deleted the partition with it and wanted to install it back on the computer. I might be thinking of something different but I will try to find the post for you.

You can download the Dell diagnostics directly from Dell's website; "www.dell4me.com". Select "Service & Support", then "Downloads". Enter your computer's full model, ie.,. Inspiron 1100. You'll be taken to a page that will have the diagnostic download for your computer.
