How to reinstall windows xp

Question

Hi guys Just want to return my Inspiron 640m back factory setting by reinstalling windows xp. i would greatly appreciate some help on the process of how to do this. i.e. reformatting and partitioning and general advice. Also if possible all the steps to reinstall all the factory software e.g. Dell Quickset, Cine players and so on and so forth just like it came out of the box. If your computer was shipped after 7.16.04, then you should have the Dell's PC Restore by Symantec utility on the hard drive, that restores the system to factory condition

If your system was shipped prior to 7.16.04, then check out either of the following XP reinstallation procedures.
