How To Remove All Remnants of A Program From The Computer?

Hi,
 
Does anyone know how to remove all remnants of a program (registry etc..)??

I use ccleaner after an uninstall to take care of all of the remnants a program leaves behind. You can download it here - http://ccleaner.com/

What type of program are you trying to remove? If it's malware, there could be something else in there that could be regenerating it.

Anyone tried the clean uninstall tool from microsoft? Heard that it is good...:smileywink:

I use CCleaner too, but more often than not, and depending on the software or program removed, there may still be items left in program files, documents and settings, and the registry.  Typically I go to all these locations and invariably will find additional folders, files, or registry entries to manually delete.
