How to verify driver installed ?

XPS400 2.8Gig 820 D Dual Core -VIIV O/S WinXP Media Center Edition 2005 2G.B. DDR2 RAM 533MHZ-4x512M.B. Samsung Hard Drive 250G.B. 7200RPM ATI 128M.B.HYPER Mem PCI-E X16 X300SE.DIM ATI TV Wonder Elite PCI 19' FP Sigma-Tel Intergrated Audio 7.1 channel Logitech G15 Keyboard DVD-/+RW & DVD-ROM Pertelian X2040 ForeSight Systems LCD information Display Dell 944 AIO Printer          In my C:\ Windows\Dell\Drivers folder ,I have a list of numbers all related to differant drivers ! When I go online and to the Dell web site and have my system scanned for additionial downloads some of these drivers come up as 'urgent ' in repect to them being downloaded and installed however when I look in the Dell\Drivers  folder I will find the listed driver number already listed in the driver folder ,my ? is how do I verify if this driver is installed ? The one in piticular Iam speaking of at this time is #143730 its a firmware download related to my DVD+RW GSA-H21N  disk drive ? Anyone that can help me with this ? You can display the current firmware version for the CD/DVD drive by going to the Device Manager, display the properties for the drive and then select the Details Tab and then display the Hardware ids.  The firmware version is listed to the right.
