HP printer software changes resolution
I just installed a new HP printer. The software automatically changes my monitor resolution to 640 x 480. Was 1152 x 864. I can reset it to 1152 x 864 but when I restart my computer the resolution goes back to 640 x 480. What is causing this problem? HP Live Help can not solve it.
After I remove the HP software the resolution stays correct at 1152 x 864.

I doubt that it was the actual HP printer install. Howver, many times there are additonal programs that come with devices. Check that software as one of those may have caused the problem.
And, you may have to reinstall the Video drivers to correct it.
