maxd,

The forum software inserts a
tag at the start of each paragraph and a
tag each time you generate a carriage return for a line break.

If you elect to be notified each time someone replies to a thread, you will be notified if you post another message to that thread. I don't use the mail feature. Are you being notified of the post in which you select the option to be notified?

On numerous occasions in the last 4-6 days after I post(reply or other) I get the 'tag' message. I have to edit the html and delete all the DIV tags before I can re-submit the post. This is using IE. Not sure about NS 7.1. Anything jump out at you re CR or ? ?

Re Notifications:

I'm getting email notifications from (my) posts where I am the author; just a nuisance really. Both of these 'problems' seem to coincide with the board update.

maxd,

When I receive the "tags" message I simply click the Submit Post button again and the post (less the tag that is objected to--currently blockquote) appears in the forum. This is using IE and the HTML editor. When my "objectionable" post is displayed, it has no new
tags in it.

Thanks for that; I'll try it next time I get the DIV. Found answer for other question in the Nofication Preferences under a "?".
