Hyperlinks in posts

Recently, URLs which I copy (from an address bar) and paste into a response, are not showing up as active links. Would appreciate suggestions of why this might be, all of a sudden. Which settings do I need to check?
Thanks in advance.

I didn't see anything about my problem in the link you gave. No, I am using Firefox, but let me try this in IE.  http://us.creative.com/

Yes, it appears this forum anf Firefox are not completely compatible. The Dell Forums must be using non-compliant code. At least, that is my guess. I will contact the Forum webmaster. Thanks for your input.

Works for me:

I dont believe there are any special settings for this. Are you using Internet Explorer in these forums?

I posted my URL as a test. The forums are definitely IE friendly. They will work in FF and Mozilla, but features are missing.

I use Firefox in this forum all the time and I have never had a problem posting html links.

Very puzzling! I wonder why you have no such problem when using Firefox and I do. Any thoughts?

It is a well known fact that Firefox is not fully supported in this forum.  If you use Firefox (or any other browser besides Internet Explorer), the only way to post a clickable link is to use write the message in html.  Internet Explorer uses the graphical editor and will convert a pasted link to html.  The graphical editor is only available if you are using Internet Explorer.
