Here are the 9 I got on 2/9 for XPpro SP2 system. (I didn't download the malicious software removal tool.)
KB867282
KB873333
KB885250
KB887472
KB888113
KB888302
KB890047
KB891781
M886903 (.net framework -this one is in different list than XP hotfixes, if you
used Belarc Advisor to check)

So you're missing KB887472, and maybe M886903

I believe M$ only installs to updates your particular computer needs. Not all computers have the same software installed.

If you go to the Windows update site, have it scan for updates. If it says "No updates available", you should be good to go.

Here's my list:

XP SP2, I got those plus this one

KB 887472  for Windows messenger

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=887472 It updates the file msmsgs.exe, which, you might not have if you uninstalled Windows messenger (it would be in C:\Program Files\Messenger if you have it; updated version is 4.7.0.3001).

The other 'missing' one is probably KB890830, MS malicious software  Removal tool. If you 'install' that from Windows update, it checks your system but does not install as such (no $NTxxxxx$ folder). I seem to remember it leaves a log file somewhere, but can't remeber where. Not sure if it is offered for XP SP1. In Windows update page you can view your installation history. It would be listed there if it ran.

I also got  1 update for .NET framework 1.0 and one for .NET framework 1.1, which you would not have got unless you had installed those

Thanks Guys, that probably explains it.

I don't have Windows Messenger installed, so I wasn't offered KB887472.

I don't use .net framework so I wasn't offered M886903.

I do use Malicious SW Removal Tool so I did get KB890830.

It appears that, as usual, Windows Update got it right, but it's usually interesting to try for confirmation!

I have about 50 updates on my XP home computer. I've had it since XP came out.

This post was only referring to the latest batch that came out last Tuesday.

If you installed SP2, you can delete the $NTxxxxx$ folders referring to updates prior to SP2 if you wish.
