IE 7 Script errors

Brand new Intel Core2 Q 6600. 3G of ram and a 256 card. Machine should not have too many issues with Vista or Explorer.

Now the issue. I'm getting 3-6 Script errors, either expecting object or invalid character on many pages such as MSN.com and the Wall Street Journal online. I've tried the basics as suggested and nothing. I cannot work on a machine like this, if it can't be changed, it's going back to Dell. I know enough about computers to do a clean re install, properly load software and hardware as well as replacing powersupplies and video cards. ( thus I'm ok with them but no genius)

In IE--Go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, check Disable script debugging (IE) and Disable .....(other). Then uncheck Display a notice for every script error. Make sure your Security settings are not too high on the Security tab. I have even better solution--download and use Firefox as your browser. It's faster and safer than IE7.

Mary, thanks but I already did that three days ago. I can't switch to FFox, as I need to use IE7 for work related access.
