iedw.exe dll initialization failed error message

Hi,

I'm having problems getting on IExplorer. Running reinstallation disk to verify everyting is intact, but overall system is still really slow. Desktop freezes continually.  click on icons and get hourglass which falls away after a few seconds and prompt seems to be ignored. Ideas?
