Iexplorer.exe reference memory can not be read

Can anyone tell me why I sometimes get this  when Windows 8 shutdown ? It will give me some codes but shutsdown too fast for me to write down the error codes

Thanks

Hi Gator957,

After doing some online research, I was able to find that this happens if you have Yahoo toolbar install on the computer. Please go to Control panel -> add or remove programs  and check if Yahoo toolbar is installed. If yes, then uninstall it. This should take care of the issue.

Hi Gator957,

Did you make any software or hardware changes in the computer?

Try booting into Safe Mode and check if you get the same error message while shutting down. Also, please try to capture the exact error message so that I can research further.

Hi Gator957,

If the issue is intermittent, then may be an OS re-installation can be done to eradicate any software issues. Still, check in Safe Mode.

If you can capture the exact error code, then we can probably do some research and try to find the root cause.
