inaccessible boot device
Dear Friends
I have a Latitude D410,and i want install windows 2000 professional on this system, but after the setup screen with subject : setup is starting windows 2000 , i get it this error : "inaccessible_boot_device",
Did you please help me,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Try deleteing the partions and then re-creating them on the harddrive. Once you have them created format and then reinstall Win2000.

In some D400 reviews, I found mention of "SATA" hard drives as an available option. But in the D400 documentation I've looked at, I didn't see any mention of SATA. There may be SATA-related settings in the BIOS, but I haven't been able to find any documentation on that subject for the D400 either!
Perhaps someone in the Latitude/Hard Drive board can help you sort this one out.
