incorrect dll loaded

Question

i keep getting a message in a box coming up on boot up(incorrect dll downloaded or something similair),just got del inspiron 530,the message then  reads:original api dll;c;\program-1\google\google-1\google 3dll then underneath it reads;current,same as above till,instead of 3dll it says 2.exe,what do i make of this?and if i have got wrong thing on my pc how do i rectify it. yours roger.

1. Uninstall Google Desktop: Click on Start; in the 'Start Search' box, type 'Programs and Features' and hit enter; scroll down to Google Desktop, double click it, and follow the removal prompts.   2. Make a decision. If you want to reinstall the Google Desktop software, go to http://www.desktop.google.com and install it. If you don't use it and don't want it, enjoy your error free computer.   Hope this works out for you.
