I am sorry about assuming you know what the bios is. In order for your computer to work again you need to make sure that the cmos battery(the device thats keeping the password stored and also the device that has turned your pc off) has been removed and the power cable has been removed from the back of the pc so that the motherboard looses its power. I am pretty sure this is the only way to do this otherwise your bios(the software that runs at the very beginning of when you turn your computer on) would always lose its settings everytime you turned your computer off or transported it.
Please let me know how you get on.
Thanks,
Lance

Hi, Is this in the Bios? If so then open the computer remove the CMOS battery for a while whilst it looses its charge.(the cmos battery looks like a coin). I know this will sound wierd but lick the cmos battery if it tastes "tingley" then you know the battery still has its charge. Put the battery back in after a while then pu the power back in and fire it up.
I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Lance

I don't know what BIOS is! When I turn the computer on, I get the screen that says...Type the system password & press enter. Then the whole thing I explained in the original post appears. I have tried to start in "safe Mode" and can't do that either. I was thinking maybe if I unplugged it for awhile? Thank you for trying to help. The computer is useless until I can figure this out.
