May I also now add that (an unrelated decision) I removed the dual boot and left it with just XP and the problem has still not been resolved. Please help. Thanks

I realise I'm the only one posting in this, but the problem is still present and despite searching everything I can find on the internet I still have no idea how to fix this. Please, any suggestions would be really useful. Thanks
