Install, Don't Install, That is the Question

I know this is odd but I still have not installed Window Service Pack 2 for XP. I don't know if it is worth it. There seems to be so many ways that it could go wrong and my system is running fine as is. I am on a Dell 8200 with a 1.8Ghz Pentium 4 Processor and 256MB of RAM. So, in your opinion, should I install it or not? Thanks.

you should install it unless you have a specific reason for not doing so.  if you scan for spyware and viruses beforehand and install from a CD or the full installer downloaded file you will probably be fine.  even should the installation fail, there are few cases of it causing data loss -- failure will be a *huge* headache but it shouldn't be the end of the world.  back up your data if it's critical.

other than that I can say I've been using it since the full installer was made avialable for download and I love it.  wireless is significantly improved, the pop-up blocker is nice for IE, and I like the firewall better than the 3rd party products I used to use.
