INSTALL MICROSOFT UPDATES
TRYING TO INSTALL AUTOMATIC UPDATES FOR OFFICE XP SERVICE PACK 3 FAILED MESSAGES APPEARS THE FEATURE YOU ARE TRYING TO USE IS ON A CD-ROM OR OTHER REMOVABLE DISK THAT ISNT AVAILABLE INSERT MICROSOFT WORD 2002" DISK . I DONT EVEN HAVE WORD 2002 I HAVE WORD XP UNABLE TO SUCESSFULLY LOAD AND IDEAS

Word 2002 is the same as Word XP.
apologies for double post. I was just trying to correct the typo.

Also having trouble completing MS XP Service Pack 3 installation: file PRORET.MSI cannot be found on my Dell XP Reinstallation CD. This file is not present on the other two CDs received with a late-2001 Dimension 4300.
Any help finding this file?

Proret.msi is on the Office CD.
Or if you just have Word as part of Works suite, try the Word CD or Works suite CD.
