Install new OS on vostro 1000
Hi,
I've bought a DELL Vostro 1000 with windows vista home edition. Can I format my partition and install a windows XP OS or linux OS?

You can install whatever you want, as long as there are drivers for all the hardware.
HERE is the Dell Windows XP drivers. There are no Linux drivers so you are on your own.
