Installing a new Hard drive
I want to install a new hard drive on my Dell E521.
Currently using an external drive (with Norton Ghost) to back up the C drive.
After installing the new drive,can I use the Dell Reinstallation DVD to get an OS?
So that I can install Ghost to recover the WinVista OS with my files?
Can it be done this way?

Does that version of Ghost have a bootable rescue media?
If it does you could Install the new drive, boot off of the Ghost CD/DVD and navigate to the backup you saved, then restore it to the new drive.
Otherwise you could use Acronis to do it, the free trial is fully working for 15 days,
