Installing Adobe Acrobat

After installing Vista I tried to install Adobe Acrobat and got an error that said...The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folde.

I have gone into the rights and permissions in the security tab on the drive and adjustd the permissions, I am the administrator for my system.

I had the same problem. Go to the control panel then click on security. Turn the user account control back on. Then Adobe will instally normally. You can then turn your user control back off if you wish.

Yep, I had exactly the same experience.  I went to the Adobe site and they gave several fixes including the one mentioned in this thread.

You might not have to turn off UAC. Try a right click on the setup program and select Run as Administrator.
