I would guess that the LE version has BUMP installed and Roxio ECD will not overwrite that instillation.
Likewise LE has DLA installed and V7.5 is taking a second seat to that packet writer. (you know that packet writing is the least reliable form of burning???)
I would uninstall both software's, reboot then install V7.5. If it were mine.
The first issue is the conflict between DLA and Drag to Disc. You can only have one of these types of programs installed. I just installed Roxio V9 on my new E510 and it detected and uninstalled DLA before installing. I still have the other Dell supplied Roxio/Sonic on the PC and it's not causing any problems.
I have 7.5 installed on my old PC, and I don't think there would be any conflicts, other than the DLA issue. You may want to uninstall 7.5, and then do a System Restore to a date prior to first attempting to install Roxio V7.5. Then manually uninstall DLA (I think it will uninstall via the Control Panel Add/Remove software), restart Windows (don't skip this step) then do a new install of 7.5.
Here's what I did to uninstall the original Dell-installed Roxio apps and install Roxio EMC 7.5:
First I created a System Restore point.
Next I uninstalled the Roxio DLA.
Then I created another System Restore point.
Then I uninstalled the DVD LE.
Then I created another System Restore point.
Then I uninstalled the remaining three pre-installed Roxio apps.
Then I created another System Restore point.
Then I did a 'search' from Windows Explorer to find and delete all Roxio folders still on the system.
Then I used System Mechanic 6 to remove all useless registry entries & shortcuts.
Then I used jv16 PowerTools to clean out the registry further.
Then I created another System Restore point.
Then I successfully installed Roxio Easy Media Creator 7.5.
Everything works: Drag-to-Disc, Creator Home, even Back Up My PC. Drag-to-Disc comes up at start-up, complete with the desktop icon & system tray icon. I can use it as advertised: "just like a floppy disk" in Windows Explorer & PowerDesk 6 using drag-and-drop. My Second Copy 7 automated backup software will even write to DVD-RW's.
However, if you are using Drag to Disc for long term backups, be aware that packet writing methods such as D to D are not very reliable, many have found that the discs can't be readafter some time. You would be better advised to use creator classic to create data discs.
