installing winxp on dell precision490

hallo,
 
i am having a problem when i am tring to install winxp on percision 490
the installation cant find the hard drive.
i know that i need to install driver for the hard drive(sata) but i guess that is the wrong driver
can some one please give me link to the right driver

Hey,
 
You can try to go in the bios under 'onboard devices' I think, and then change the SATA option to ATA. (on a D630 you'll have to disable the flashmodule first).
 
This will enable you to install XP without the need of loading a driver.
