Installshield Error# -5

Question

After installing VISTA I get the message: Install shield Error# -5. I can not find any reference to this particular error. All applications seem to function properly, so how can I eradicate this annoying pop-up after every boot? (XPS410)

This link doesn't work for me an error page appears saying 'Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage, what else can fix it? I get this same error using the link from Dell and Install Shields website also. My pc came with Vista so I don't what caused this error to start I got this laptop May 2007 brand new.
