Installshield update manager error # -5

I have a new Dell Dimension E521 running windows vista premium.
When I select "Program Updates" from start button I get message from
update manager  "An error occurred. Error # -5. Visit http://consumer.installshield.com
for more information". This link tells me nothing. I can click on th OK button and it seems
to take me into the update manager. I'm sure I must have done something bad while
playing around on new machine. Can anyone please help me? Thanks in advance.

This is supposed to be the update from installshield that fixes the problem. I was going to install it but ended up doing a fresh OS Vista install and now I think because I don't have Roxio installed I don't get that error.
