Intel Application Accelerator
Dear all,
When trying to install the newest Intel Application Accelerator driver/program I get following message
(running WinXP Pro)
"Incompatible Hardware. This software is not supported on this chipset."
I know from the chipid util, that I have a compatible chipset.
Memory Controller: 82875P
I/O Controller: 820801EB/ER
Please help me

I don't know if you have figured it out yet or not but with your chipset you can't just install the accelerator you have to use the Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility. If you look at the following infornation you will see that you have to get a file from the location I have identified below. Good luck.

Ok thanks. Guess I'm happy for you...
Well I think that leaves an e-mail to Intel themselves. Can't think of anything else to do. I updated my Bios to A03, installed the newes Chipset drivers, plus ran the chipset identifier util, which shows me that I exactly have the requirements, and it still doesn't want to run.
Well thanks anyway.

That's really strange. Because with my old system I noticed a really big improvement.
Could it be that the 875 already has this accelerator included in the bios?
