Intenet Script Errors

Question

When using either my HP Scanner, Roxio, or Canon Printer I keep getting this message (Internet Script Errors), can anyone out there help me, I have tried Dell Support (no Help) What does this mean and how can I get rid of them.

Do you have IE , Tools > Internet Options > Advanced  'Disable script debugging' ticked &  'Display a notification....'    unticked. Message Edited by gryjhnhpe on 01-18-2004 07:48 AM

Yes I have Internet options, what do I do once i get there. Sorry I'm new to this so bare with me. Could you quide me thru this???

Open Internet Explorer ,click Tools button , click Internet Options , click Advanced tab , check "Disable script ..." is ticked if not click on box then check "Display ...." is not ticked , if ticked click on box.
Then click "Apply" button at bottom , then click OK button.

Didn;t work. any other suggestions. Also when burning cds on Roxio I get to the start, then it just closes the progam, any suggestions. Thanks for you hlp.

OK you could try scanning Computer for a Virus or Spyware & Delete if found.
You can get FREE program called Spybot from;
http://spybot.eon.net.au/
If you install with Blind Icons you also get extra Immunize Options
"Lock IE Home Page"
"Lock Hosts file"
"Lock use of Internet Options from IE" > Tools > Internet Options

Use Update 1st before Immunize & Scan for problems.
Also has other Tools , like list or Add/Remove of Auto Startup Programs & lists Hosts file
