You need to download the IE6setup.exe file and then say download all the files to a directory like C:\IE6SP1 and then put that on a memory key and re-install.
OR
Find a free AOL cd and see if it has an IE6 Setup directory
OR
Order internet explorer 6 on cdrom while its still available. I have a suspicion it wont be around much longer in favor of Version 7
A full download for all OS is about 50 to 70 megs.
Thank you, SpeedStep! My gut feeling told me that was what I needed to do. I sent for a cd from Microsoft yesterday, as well as the cd from Norton. I will install IE 6 first and then cross my fingers when I try the Norton again. If I had only gotten the Norton cd in the first place I don't think I'd be in this mess! Thank you for your time. Peace out. . .
