Internet explorer 8 doesn't want to install!!!

Question

I have tried loads of time to install internet explorer 8, but always get the same problem.   A window pops up saying 'Installation tools for WindowsInternet Explorer 8 has stopped working'   It's the Vista version, and i cannot find why it shouldn't work.   Please help!   Picture of problem(it's in norwegian).

IE 8 is a beta product for those who know how to deal with betas. Have you searched for a Microsoft beta forum or submitted an IE8 bug report to Microsoft?

Its best to stay away from explorer 8 beta.
