Internet time

When ever I  try to update my time using Vista I get a message saying that "An error occured wile Windows was synchronizng with time .nist.gov."  This also happens with all the ohter time servers that are listed.  Any ideas how to fix this?

I have had to set my time manually.

It is just one of those things that happen from time to time.  Nothing to fix.  Give it a few hours or a couple of days and it will work. Right now as of this message time-b.nist.gov is working for me.

All users should ensure that their software NEVER queries a server more frequently than once every 4 seconds. Systems that exceed this rate will be refused service. In extreme cases, systems that exceed this limit may be considered as attempting a denial-of-service attack.

The same thing happens to me. So I use Atomic Clock Service v. 3.1 to keep the clock synced.

I've had that happen as well, but if I click on the "Update Now" button a few more times, it invariably works.
