Hi all,

My Inspiron 1525 laptop have recently given me this ""Invalid floating point operation" message every time I want to run a software.

I try to close that window and rerun the software , but it keeps giving me the same message and shuts down the software. What happend? Can anyone help me? Thank you in advance.

htp367,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

What software are you running that this error pops up?

Hi Jesse,

Thank you for your reply. I am running SpyBot to scan my laptop. But it is wierd that I have been using it for a long time but have never had

any problem before.
