invalid product code

I've already found out from MS that notebook I tried to install sp2 on is on a list of possible pirated product keys.  Does anyone know if Dell has a plan to take care of issues like this.

Call Dell. I'm sure you are mistaken. Dell uses a generic number for installation and your key on the bottom or side of your computer will be accurate, but different. Are you sure you typed the number correctly? In any case, this should be posted in Customer Care.

on my dell, the product key is so small that it is hard for me to read.. i discovered that what i thought were "O's" or "0's" were actually "Q's".. anything that looks like an "O" or a "0", i would try going with its being a "Q", "Q" as in "Quick" and "Quality"..
