Hi
Just figured it out. I loaded the latest version (1.4.2.04) of java which has an automatic update feature that resides on the startup menue

OK , mine shows 1.4.2-b28----------------Edit:have downloaded the latest version 1.4.2.04 & your right it adds;SunJavaUpdateSchedF:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_04\bin\jusched.exe
to HKLM / Run

And SUN JAVA works OK in IE.

Yes, and that's the only place it appears. It has no entry on the Startup tab of msconfig, which I think is what hardware was asking.

SunJavaUpdateSched
F:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_04\bin\jusched.exe
to HKLM / Run
