Java Icon not opening
Dell Inspiron 530s 200GB HD 3.5GB RAM. Can anyone tell me why the Java Icon in Control Panel will not open when every other icon does? I am trying to check the Java settings because I get the message 'Java not found or not working' when playing Pogo games. Meanwhile checking with Java.com I am informed that I have the latest version of Java installed. Is there another way to access the Java console? Please advise.

Woodbear99,
It's always a Java problem with Pogo.
Download Latest Java, click on do I have Java and test it.

I think I said that when I go to Java.com and click on 'do I have Java' it immediately tells me I have the latest version installed. When I ask Java to test it another problem arises that I have have mentioned in other posts (disconnection problems), namely, the browser disconnects. Thus I am stymied on two fronts: I can't open Java in control panel, and secondly I get a browser disconnect whenever I try to open a second or third 'intensive website' window. HELP! I have a Dell Inspiron 530s, 200 GB HD, 3.5GB RAM. Vista Home Basic OS.
