KB943899 Update Causes Error Code 800F0816

Question

Vostros 1400 Laptop Vista Business   All attempts to install update KB943899 results in fail with a error code 800F0816 and forces a repair restart. Anyone else having this problem?   Thanks.   Mike

Thanks. I will go take a look at it. My only concern is the posted said that he followed those steps without installing KB943899. I do not have it installed. I may try the suggested updates and see if it helps.   Mike

I had the same problem on my Dell Inspiron 1520. I have found a solution(without uninstalling update KB943899). I did three manual updates after Iinstalled KB943899: Mike
