Keylogging software

I write a blog and have a problem with posts I've written but not saved getting wiped out when I either accidentally close my Firefox browser before saving the post; or when the browser freezes & shuts down on its own. When I wrote about this problem a few yrs. ago in another support forum someone suggested using Blazing Tools Perfect Keylogger for this purpose. I purchased the software & it filled this function well for a yr.

Just tonight, when I was trying to use the PK log to restore a lost post (an hour's work wasted!) I got an error saying the log file might have become corrupted. I haven't been successful at getting any support fr. the Perfect Keylogger folks in several months & don't even know whether they're still around.

Can someone suggest another keylogging program that works well? I'm not planning to use the software for any of the nefarious purposes for which it sometimes is used by scoundrels. No spying on folks--just on myself (that's a joke btw) & just to log my blogging keystrokes. BTW, if anyone has any alternative suggestions on how to accomplish this w/o using keylogging software I'd be happy to hear them.

Why don't you compose your blog in a texteditor such as Word or Notepad where you can frequently save your work to date? Upon completion just upload the text. If the upload fails, you still have your saved text editor.

I like working within my blog editing interface and I also spend so much time maintaining my blog that I'd rather not have to use a 2nd program to compose & publish posts. It just tends to make things too diffuse.
