Latitude -- Forgotten Password
Help!! I purchased a Latitude LT as a back up computer on Ebay a few years ago. It came with a password . . . . and yes, the dog ate the slip of paper. I at a loss. Will I ever be able to get into my little computer --- it's been over a year since I used the computer and I tried all the things I thought it was. Contacted the seller -- a pawn shop -- and he doesn't remember it either.
Any suggestions anyone?? I'm desperate. I wanted to send this to my handicapped brother as a means of communication.

You need to read the "usage howto" at the top, read the one that is labeled "winpass, this is the only tool you need to use on the disc as there are many. Then you need to go to the download at the top and download the build 98 iso and burn it to disc using the "burn image" function of your burning software. Boot from this cd and run "winpass from the prompt and answer the questions as advised in the tutorial, then reboot when told. Read the tutorial carefully as you can destroy your install if careless.
