Linux on Latitud D600

I just installed about 7 months ago, Mandrake 9.1 and upgraded to Mandrake 10.0 on the Latitud. All works axcept...

PCMCIA

Volume buttons (up, down, mute)

IR port

Modem

The Fn function keys does not works, except for the Backlight Display.

Does anybody has experience on installing Linux on this laptop?

My experience is quiet excellent, I can watch DVDs, burn CDs, read data from CDs, listen to music, surf the web, the USB port works with Mouse and Mem stick (hot plug), the Touch Pad works, the "Pencil Eraser Mouse" on the keyboard works and the Display is Perfect.

Try the Mandrake user groups.  You'll probably have better luck there.  Lot's of linux running on Dell Lats.

I am a memeber of the Mandrake Club, Linux ISO, Just Linux, Linux Loader, Noobie Linux, Rebels Haven Computer Forum...

I just trying to see if anyone here got the chance the do it and/or see if there is a factory support work around.

That is all...
