LMS compatibility with windows XP or higher

Hello, I'm developing a Learning Management System for systems having Windows XP or higher. The software is going to be installed on 1000 Dell XPS laptops. I'm just concerned about its compatibility with the systems. Can you please suggest me some LMS you have used on these systems? Are these working fine in the terms of stability in operation?
