Locking Computer

Question

I just got a new computer with Windows XP home edition.  Previously, I could hit control-alt-delete and lock the computer when I am away and then type a password to log back in.  Is this possible with Windows XP home edition?  When I hit control-alt-delete now I get the Windows Task Manager.   Thanks. Missy

You must have Fast User Switching enabled to lock the computer. If you do, press the Windows logo key+ L to lock.

Fast User Switching can be turned on or off by going to Start|Control Panel|User Accounts and selecting "Change the way users log on or off."
