Logging in

Hello.  I need help urgently, as I have forgotten the password to log in to my PC.  What can be done?  I have a password reset disk and a boott up disk for the laptop, byut they don't work.  How can I resolve this problem as soon as possible so that I can use my laptop again, as at the moment no-one can log in or out of the PC.

If it's a bios password, then you can call Dell and prove you are the owner of the computer and get an override password.  If you are not the owner of record, then you have a new doorstop.
If it's a Windows password, boot into Safe Mode (F8 on startup) and log in the Admin account and change the password.
