Logging On to windows

Hi, I was wondering if there was a setting on XP to save me from logging on or signing in to windows after I leave my computer idle for 10 minutes or so. If i logon and go away for a while, when I get back to use my computer I have to resign in. Is there a setting to stop me from having to do this?

Thanx,
Steve

Hi,
Go to
Control Panel/Performance and Maintenance/Power Options

Change the settings here depending on how long you want the system to wait before turning off or going into standby

smd747,

If you use a screen saver, the problem may be caused by that rather than Power Management. If so, go to Start|Control Panel|Display|Screen Saver tab and uncheck "On resume display Welcome screen."
